FITT Agix Smart Box: a new concept in reversibility
FITT/Airplast extends its range and introduces the FITT Agix Smart Box, the new PVC box for the distribution of fresh air to living rooms or for the extraction of exhaust air from wet rooms.
Internally, the box is insulated with polyester fibre panels covered with a self-extinguishing protective film that is impermeable to water, oil and dust.
Externally, the FITT Agix Smart Box is lined with a polyethylene foam insulation layer.
The box has a polypropylene main connection with a gasket of variable diameter depending on the model, which is then connected to the ventilation unit via a rigid or flexible duct.
The FITT Agix Smart Box can be installed either on the wall or ceiling using the brackets with self-tapping screws provided.
New concept of reversibility
FITT Agix Smart Box introduces a completely unique reversibility concept.
The new box makes it possible to vary the position and number of the distribution connections (made by means of 'Grey' collars) simply by exchanging the incorporated threaded plugs, coloured magenta.
The reversibility of the connections is a function also guaranteed by the traditional PVC plate distribution box, with the difference that, in this case, in order to vary the position of the connections it is necessary to unscrew the plate-holding screws and then refix the PVC plate itself.
With the new box, this action is replaced by a simple exchange of the threaded plugs, without the need to unscrew and retighten the screws.
100% PVC: the advantages
FITT Agix Smart Box is made entirely of anti-condensation PVC coated with PE foam.
With the aim of keeping the performance of its products constantly high, FITT/Airplast chooses PVC as the main construction material. This is because PVC boasts numerous properties that, when combined, guarantee healthy air and, consequently, the health and well-being of people.
In addition to being anti-condensation, PVC's antibacterial and antifungal properties help eliminate contaminants and pollutants, maintaining high levels of air quality.
In addition, by virtue of their quality and durability, air treatment products made of PVC minimise maintenance requirements, thus reducing running costs over time.
A rich and extensive range
FITT Agix Smart Box è disponibile in tre differenti formati: Small (S), Medium (M) e Large (L).
Le serie, diverse per dimensioni e numero di attacchi, sono accomunate dalla possibilità di installare collarini “Grey” nelle posizioni e nel numero necessari allo specifico impianto. Infatti, i tappi filettati magenta possono essere scambiati e sostituiti da collarini “Grey” facilmente avvitabili.
FITT Agix Smart Box is available in three different sizes: Small (S), Medium (M) and Large (L).
The series, which differ in size and number of connections, are united by the possibility of installing 'Grey' collars in the positions and number required for the specific installation. In fact, the magenta threaded plugs can be exchanged and replaced by easily screwable 'Grey' collars.
If you want to tighten the collars themselves, you can use a special tool available on request.
As of this year, the 'Grey' collars can also be ordered individually.
