FITT Agix AirMix Smart and AirMix Regolo: a single solution for integrating HRV and HVAC

FITT Agix AirMix is the innovative supply plenum, made entirely of anti-condensation PVC, capable of mixing the air of the ducted air conditioning unit with the fresh air of the HRV system.

Thanks to this plenum, the mixing of the air, which takes place immediately downstream in the supply ducts towards the different living spaces, is possible by means of common ducts (and therefore also diffusion terminals) for both systems (air conditioning and HRV). In this way, space requirements are reduced and installation operations are simplified.

Numerous pluses make the FITT Agix AirMix plenum a high-performance solution:

The plenum, equipped with gravity supply dampers (Airmix Smart) or motorised dampers (Airmix Regolo), has two chambers inside divided by a PVC flow separator between HRV and air conditioning.  

Air from the HRV system enters the plenum through an oval collar and exits in the smaller part between the two dividing dampers.

Characterised by gravity air supply dampers with partial flaps, with a preponderant part dedicated to air conditioning and a smaller part for HRV, FITT Agix AirMix Smart represents the simplest and most cost-efficient solution, particularly suitable for situations where it is sufficient to regulate the climate directly from the control panel of the air-conditioning unit, without necessarily having to control it independently in each living space.

On the other hand, the FITT Agix AirMix Regolo 2.0 model is characterised by the following features:

• Flow separator chamber
• HRV system air collar
• Motorised dampers
• Control unit with Regolo 2.0 electronic board

The presence of a by-pass also ensures that excess air from the ductable unit is disposed of.

Designed specifically for fan coils with EC version fans, but also advantageous in combination with air conditioning units, the FITT Agix AirMix Regolo Plus 2.0 model plenum, finally, represents the most advanced solution, as it allows modular control of the fans according to the number of active zones present on the plenum, thus decreasing the fan coil's electrical consumption.

To complete the system, FITT Agix easy kit comprises a set of products which, together with the plenums, are able to ensure healthy air:

• air distribution ducts, with additivated polyolefin resin external vapour protection,
• anti-condensation PVC vents and return grilles
