Airplast and FITT: a union that expands and completes the HRV offering
Airplast becomes part of the FITT Group, enhancing and completing FITT Agix’s HRV and air distribution systems.
FITT, a leading global group established in Italy in 1969 - and today a Benefit Company - is a pioneer in the production and development of solutions for the transfer of fluids for domestic, professional and industrial applications. FITT Ventilation Solutions is the business unit of the FITT Group constantly engaged in searching for new solutions and in producing and marketing a complete HRV and air distribution system capable of guaranteeing excellent indoor quality.
With the aim of strengthening its position in the ventilation market, the FITT Group incorporates Airplast, a company that has been providing aesthetic refinement and maximum airflow performance since 1995 in the production of systems and components dedicated to air diffusion.
The acquisition of Airplast strengthens the business strategy of the FITT Group, which entered the VMC world with the FITT Agix range in 2021 and aims to grow and consolidate its position in the ventilation market in Italy and Europe.

Let’s explore some of the preview innovations at MCE:
Pre-insulated flexible tube Ø 75/90 mm
The pre-coated flexible tube with closed-cell expanded PE provides excellent insulation, preventing condensation of transported air even in the presence of significant temperature fluctuations.
The insulating layer is bonded over the entire surface and length of the tube, to ensure perfect long-term adhesion to the pipeline and making installation quick and easy in all conditions.
Internally, the pre-insulated flexible tube features an antibacterial, antifungal, and antistatic layer.
Wall-mounted aluminum diffusers
The new wall-mounted aluminum diffusers can be used for both air intake and extraction in indoor environments. They consist of a screen and an aluminum frame. The frame is equipped with a guide to adjust the screen’s position in four steps (with a 7.5 mm spacing between each step) relative to the third step (the true “flush-to-wall” position), thereby controlling the airflow. The first step corresponds to the closed position.
An additional fourth step, positioned outside the wall, allows for higher airflow rates compared to what can be achieved in the “flush-to-wall” configuration.
The frame has a thickness of 17 mm, and the screen can be easily removed and reinserted for cleaning. As for construction materials, the frame is made of aluminum with a thickness of 1.2 mm, coated in white RAL9010 epoxy powder. The screen is also made of aluminum, with a thickness of 2 mm and the same white RAL9010 epoxy powder coating. The sliding springs, guides, and screen fasteners are made of steel.
This new line of diffusers stands out for its aesthetic refinement and can be customized in finish to seamlessly integrate with the wall. By allowing “flush-to-wall” installation, they avoid adding unnecessary depth while maintaining optimal airflow performance.
Rectangular flat screen glass diffuser
The diffuser can be used for both air intake and extraction in indoor environments. It consists of a flat screen made of white or black retro-painted glass, spaced from the wall to allow for tangential airflow on all four sides.
The screen position can be adjusted using three positions (“steps”), controlling the distance between the screen and the wall, and thus regulating the airflow. The first step corresponds to the closed position. An additional fourth step, positioned outside the wall, allows for higher airflow rates compared to the “flush-to-wall” configuration.
The frame is made of aluminum with a thickness of 1.2 mm, coated in white RAL9010 epoxy powder. The screen is made of a 4 mm thick glossy glass, retro-painted in either pure white RAL9003 or classic black RAL9005 (both certified Cradle to Cradle CertifiedTM Silver). A 3 mm thick PVC anti-condensation panel is glued to the back of the screen. The screen/panel fastening springs are made of harmonic steel.
Square flat screen glass diffuser
The square diffuser with a frame for Ø125mm pipe/adapter can be used for both air intake and extraction in indoor environments. It consists of a flat white or black retro-painted glass screen, spaced from the wall or ceiling to allow for tangential airflow on all four sides.
The tabs on the frame allow for adjustment in two steps (plus a complete closed position), controlling the distance between the screen and the wall, and thus regulating the airflow. The diffuser screen is easily removable and reassembled for maintenance and cleaning. The frame is made of aluminum with a thickness of 1.2 mm and is coated in RAL9010 epoxy powder.
The glossy glass screen has a thickness of 4 mm and is retro-painted in either pure white RAL9003 or classic black RAL9005 (both certified Cradle to Cradle CertifiedTM Silver).
The anti-condensation PVC panel glued to the back of the screen has a thickness of 3 mm. The screen/panel fastening springs are made of harmonic steel. This diffuser comes with a safety cord as standard, allowing for ceiling installation as well.
Plenum Regolo Plus
The REGOLO plus thermoregulation system allows you to control the temperature in multiple zones of your home with maximum cost-effectiveness. It starts from a single internally ducted direct expansion unit. The control unit can manage up to 6 climatic zones, plus a proportional motorized bypass zone. Zoning and independent climate management for each area not only avoids the need for installing many split indoor units but also ensures high environmental comfort, thanks to the quiet distribution of air through ducts.
All wiring and configurations (whether wireless or wired) are carried out directly by the company, simplifying the installation of this system as much as possible. The plenum is constructed from 4 mm thick anticondensation PVC, with external insulation made of 3 mm thick expanded PE, and it operates within a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C.
